Akira wakes up in her room she realized she was late for school and got up fast she zoomed out of bed to were she almost tripped but she was fine. Akira got ready she brushed her hair and put her school uniform on and ran down stairs. She could hear her mom calling her from the kitchen as soon as she got down stairs she hugged her mom and grabbed her backpack and left for school she waited 2 minutes for the bus every morning so she was used to being out in the cold but last night before she went to bed her and her mother checked the weather report and it said how there would be a big snow storm next week so it would get colder everyday that is why Akira wore her big jacket and scarf soon the bus came and she got on to it she sat by her self in the back row he seat number was 15 it was her favorite seat and she didn’t have to share it with anyone usually Akira was the last one to get on then they would go straight to school but she notested they did go over to the school right after they stopped at a little house she looked out her window to see who the new kid on the bus would be but her window was to foggy thanks to the cold wether as soon as the new person stepped on the bus everyone looked at him he seemed to look really nice so there was no problem with her offering her seat up to him. When she offered her seat had thanked her and sat down next to her they talked on there way to school and she learned his names was conner and he was new to this school and he moved here from Tokyo to live with his father she was really interested in the fact he was from japan and wanted to learn more about what it was like in Tokyo. He told her all about it and how different it was from were she lives. A few days later they are best friends and hang out a lot so one day he invited her to his birthday party at a snow cabin the only thing was it was on the same day as the big snow storm.The next day she woke up it was snowing like crazy out she looked outside her window and saw a bunch of kids play outside and snow falling from the sky she got up and went to her closet. She looked at all of her clothes and chose a dark blue sweater with a snow flake design on the bottom them she picked black baggy pants that were nice a warm and it also had pockets as well. She put her cute aqua and whit snow boots with white fur after that she went down stairs and ate some of her breakfast her mom gave her. Her mom asked her if she was excited to go over to who friends house she said yes after a few minutes she is done eating and gets he present for her friend then gets in the car. Her mom comes out and drives her to her friends house it was only 30 minutes away. Soon they made it to the house and she nocked on the door her mom drove off because she had work her friend answered and they went in the house they hanged out and had a lot of fun with watching moves and celebrating his birthday. Later they wanted to play outside so they opened the front door. It was all snowed in to where they got stuck in the house the light went off and they slammed the door shut they both wondered what to do and sense their parents weren’t home they decided to stay inside the house but the lights where off and so was the power so the heater wasn’t working so they each get an idea they were going to dig their way out her friend said he used to have a farm in the summer and was used to digging things they each got their jackets and shoes and gloves on and went to the front door they opened it and there was still a bunch of snow covering the door so they both started digging there were freezing and really cold but they both worked to gather each cheered each other on and help one another to get outside to the power box and soon they finally made it they both were happy and jumping around in excitement they went over to the power box and turned it back on. Later there his parents came home to the two of them on the couch drink hot chocolate and watching a Christmas movie.

Rushing downstairs, she hugged her mom, grabbed her backpack, and left for school. Waiting for the bus, Akira noticed the cold weather, knowing a snowstorm was approaching. Once on the bus, she sat in her favorite seat, but saw a new boy board. She offered him her seat and they struck up a conversation, becoming fast friends.
Days later, Akira and the new boy, Connor, were best friends. He invited her to his birthday party at a snow cabin, though it coincided with the big snowstorm. On the day of the party, Akira dressed warmly and her mom drove her there. The two had a great time celebrating Connor's birthday with movies and fun. When they wanted to play outside, they found themselves snowed in and without power. Determined to dig their way out, they worked together and successfully restored power.
As they waited for Connor's parents to return, they enjoyed hot chocolate and a Christmas movie. The adventure brought them even closer as friends, grateful for each other's help and company.
